The current officers and directors of the Endowment are
President:  Carolyn Sellars
Vice President:  Gary Shepherd
Treasurer:  Bill Wilkinson
Clerk:  Patricia Jeanig
Directors: Bruce Beauchesne, Stacy Schuttler (Library Director), Kerry Thrasher

Many other people help with the outreach and solicitation critical to the success of the Endowment.

Endowment funds are managed by the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts, a “nonprofit, community corporation created by and for the people of greater North Central Massachusetts to help our donors make a positive impact on their community.”

Income from the Endowment provides the Townsend Library community with supplemental resources to inspire curiosity,  cultivate understanding and excite the imagination.   According to our by-laws, Endowment funds supplement and cannot replace funds appropriated by the town.
